Art for art’s sake? I should think so, and more so than ever at the present time. It is the one orderly product which our middling race has produced. It is the cry of a thousand sentinels, the echo from a thousand labyrinths, it is the lighthouse which cannot be hidden … it is the best evidence we can have of our dignity. ~ E.M. (Edward Morgan) Forster (1879–1970), British novelist, essayist; address to PEN Club Congress, 1962

Running Around with Coffee Art

+

Vancouver SunCoffee Talk, one of our FriendINKS, recently posted 16 pictures created by instant coffee. His post came from an article that was published on The Vancouver Sun last January 12.

Assigned buses plying the cities of Vancouver and Toronto (Canada) will be carrying coffee art pieces on main street routes around the cities. Bus-riding folks are invited to choose which of the 16 artworks that will be shown around is best.

Coffee art is not only inspiring people to be creative, but is also a very productive and noble medium in campaigning for improvements in society.

I am already looking forward to massive and similar endeavours here in our country.
